We here at the USS Hornet Association Secretary's office received a request for fomer friends and buddies of Fred Champman to send him a card or call him. Fred is a former Hornet fighter pilot who flew a hellcat into Japan off the Hornet in 1943/44. He is also the artist that contributed paintings of the Hornet for general sale.
